No. That’s the beauty of them. The box is the vessel, so there’s nothing to unwrap or arrange. Just set it down and enjoy, which makes boxed flowers especially handy for hospitals, offices and gifts.
With the foam keeping them hydrated, most boxed arrangements stay fresh for around 5 to 7 days, and often longer with good care. Keep them out of direct sun and air-conditioning, and top up the foam with a little water every couple of days.
The floral foam is pre-soaked, so they arrive ready to go. To extend their life, gently add a small amount of water to the foam every two days or so to keep it moist.
