“Blooms of Hope” — our front page moment
In August 2026 the Gold Coast Bulletin put our little flower shop on its front page, with the full story — “Blooms make the GC brighter” — on page 7. The story was about something we’ve quietly done for years: free flower delivery to Gold Coast hospitals.
“A Gold Coast florist is absorbing the cost of hospital delivery fees in a bid to make local lives brighter.”
— Gold Coast Bulletin, 5 August 2026
“We never wanted a delivery fee to be the inconvenience that stops someone from making a loved one smile on their hardest day. That’s why it’s free and why it will stay free.”
— Carolina Subero, owner, as quoted in the Gold Coast Bulletin
Carolina and Erwin both come from health backgrounds, so hospitals are familiar ground — and the place where a small moment of brightness matters most. That’s why delivery to Gold Coast University Hospital, Mater Hospital and Pindara Private is free, always.
